Dear Colleagues
Colour-coded duplex sonography has long been standard in phlebology for the topographic topographic-anatomical and functional functional clarification. The prerequisite for stage-appropriate and gentle treatment of varicose veins is precise knowledge of the topography. For the of venous reflux routes, colour-coded colour-coded duplex sonography is the basis.
This method, which can be learnt quickly a customised treatment individualised treatment concept within a few minutes. For endoluminal procedures such as ultrasound-targeted foam sclerotherapy, adhesive, laser, radio wave, etc., a good knowledge of ultrasound is a prerequisite. Only by means of preoperative ultrasound-targeted marking of reflux routes (mapping) minimally invasive vein surgery can be realised.
The WORKSHOP DUPLEXSONOGRAPHY offers those interested in phlebology the the opportunity to learn sonography simply and practical under the guidance of an interdisciplinary team with up to 30 years of experience experience in small groups. Ultrasound experience is not required!
We look forward to your participation and personal exchange with you!

Dear Colleagues,
Varicose veins, some of which are symptomatic, pose a major challenge. Numerous treatment methods have been established in recent decades, but none is experiencing a renaissance comparable to that of sclerotherapy.
The ultrasound-targeted injection of foamed sclerosing agents into insufficient veins is now regarded as an effective, low-pain and cost-effective form of therapy.
The WORKSHOP FOAM Sclerotherapy offers you the opportunity to learn the method of ultrasound-targeted foam sclerotherapy in small groups under the guidance of an interdisciplinary team with up to 20 years of experience.
We look forward to your participation and the personal exchange with you!
Yours sincerely,

Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to be able to offer this course again with the help of the professional team at the LK Melk.
Minimally invasive methods are also booming in phlebology. In the midst of endoluminal procedures such as foam sclerotherapy, superglue, LASER, radio wave and even extracorporeal closure of a truncal vein using focussed sound waves (HIFU), phlebosurgery is still very important. Preoperative mapping, stage-appropriate invaginating stripping and mini-surgical side-astexhairesis can be performed well under sound-guided tumescent anaesthesia. This further development of Babcock stripping without the use of a folding knife makes the operation minimally invasive and virtually complication-free. The procedure is painless and ideal for day-case treatment. In addition to the low complication rate, the data also confirm a low recurrence rate.
The PHLEBOCHIRURGY WORKSHOP offers assistance with surgical planning as well as tips and tricks for operating on varicose vein and ulcer patients.
We look forward to your participation and a personal exchange with you!
Yours sincerely,
Dr Ferdinand Steinbacher
